Plenty of kayak options

Ballina Adventure Kayaks will be providing two half-day tours along Mobbs Bay, Richmond River, Ross Lane and Prospect Lake on January 8 and January 18.

Evans River Kayak Adventures are also offering a chance to see dolphins, stingrays and sea turtles while kayaking down the Evans River on January 17.

Girls and boys aged nine to 16 are encouraged to attend. The cost of each program is $54.

Artist Rosanna Pimm uses 3500 porcelain tampons to created her large scale performance installation  Riots of Passage in The Quad  as part of The Lismore Women's Festival on International Women's Day. Laying down and de-constructing the mandala structure symbolises the impermanence of the menstrual cycle and an end to female inequality in the world.
