Professional instructors from Ballina Adventure Kayaks will be leading two half-day tours Mobbs Bay and the Richmond River on January 8 and Lennox Head on January 18.
The first tour will give participants an opportunity to paddle alongside bottlenose dolphins, explore the mangroves and observe the many types of water birds.
The second tour will meander along Ross Lane up to Prospect Lake where participants will see untouched rainforest and teeming bird life.
Evans River Kayak Adventures are also offering the chance to see dolphins, stingrays and sea turtles on their kayak tour down the Evans River on January 17.
Girls and boys aged nine to 16 are welcome. The cost of each program is $54.
