Playboys Highrollin launch

Gleny Rae Virus shoots pool with her Tamworth Playboys. This Friday theyll ditch the pool cues, grab their instruments and launch their CD with a goddamn alt-country music celebration in Lismore. Yeeha!

Gleny Rae Virus sings, plays accordion and violin, writes songs, wears a cowboy hat and shoots pool. She made a big impression as a member of the infamous Toe Sucking Cowgirls, playing country music all over this wide, Akubrad land.

Now her hot new band, Gleny Rae Virus and her Tamworth Playboys, will launch its debut album Highrollin at the Winsome Hotel in Lismore this Friday, December 22, from 8pm-ish.

The CD is already being played on radio both regional and national. Im not surprised. Gleny and her boys really know how to swing and rock, country-style.

The launch will be a Christmas country hoot.

She and the boys will be supported by Jimmy Willing & the Real Gone Hick-Ups.

Entry is $10 for a night of pedal-steel heaven.
