New Years Eve family festival in Alstonville

If youve got kids and find theres not much family-friendly entertainment on New Years Eve, the Alstonville Apex Club has got you covered.

The Clubs biggest fundraiser of the year is a special New Years Eve Family Festival, which has plenty for young and old to enjoy while farewelling 2006.

The alcohol-free event features lots of rides for children, food and drink stalls, plus music by Spoonbender commencing at 7pm.

A huge fireworks display at 9.15pm will finish the night with a bang.

Gates open from 5pm at the Alstonville Showgrounds and the event closes at 10.30pm. Entry is just $2 per person and all funds go to the Alstonville Apex Club for community projects.

Anyone interested in helping out on the night or any stallholders who would like to join in the event should contact Richard Lutze on 0418 699 677.
