Holiday fun day

These school holidays parents and carers are sure to be looking for something different to challenge the kids, NSW Sport and Recreation has organised a great Family Fun Day at Lake Ainsworth on Sunday, January 21.

Running from 9am-4pm, the fun day will include activities such as sailing, canoeing, swimming and archery. The cost is $40 for adults and $30 for children and covers instruction and use of facilities all day.

NSW Sport and Recreation co-ordinator Lyn Larsen said a tempting range of other activities are also on offer during the holidays including surfing, cricket, skating, sailing, mountain biking and kayaking. There are also special activity days at the Lismore PCYC.
