The Far North Coast Womens Masters squad easily won the Divisional Masters Championships on Saturday at Albert Park. FNC won all six games, led by Libby Cramp, Sue Clark and Loris Gordon, who pitched their opponents out of every contest. Denise Simes and Sheila Keene played well in the field, while Cramp, Clark, Simes and Stacy Hughes batted with great power. Val Dowse was superb in the outfield.

On Sunday the Under 14 boys and girls played divisional championships with the FNC boys taking out the runner-up trophy. Due to the rain the finals could not be played, so it was awarded on points, with Coffs Harbour narrowly defeating FNC. Mitch Watt and Adam McNamara performed well with the bat, while Sam Osborne and Edward Kelly performed well on the mound. Younger players Dean Gillespie and Sebastian Jones also stepped up to the plate.
