Phantom Of The Opera gets the Dance Energy Studios treatment in their dance spectacular And The Oscar Goes To... which will light up Lismore soon.

Every year Dance Energy Studios (with studios in Alstonville and Lismore) and artistic director Suzanna Bowen put together a huge dance performance showcasing the skills of the 160 young students and their teachers.

This year the show is based on the musical themes of popular movies including The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Phantom of the Opera, The Planet of the Apes, Pirates of the Caribbean, Spiderman and more.

With exciting and elaborate costumes, invited actors and superb dancing, this song and dance spectacular And The Oscar Goes To... (scripted and choreographed by Suzanna Bowen) hits the stage of the Lismore Workers Club on Friday, December 15, from 7pm.

Of course, therell be the full red carpet treatment (like the Oscars) with pre-show entertainments in the foyer from 6.10pm.
