World champion poet and wealthy poetry promoter David Hallett will probably wear his poets beret when he hosts the Poets Breakfast in Lismore this Saturday morning as part of the Carrington Street Carnivale. Bacon and metaphors. Yum.

For all the early birds coming to the Carrington Street Carnivale in Lismore this Saturday, December 9, therell will be a Poets Breakfast at Caddies Caf.

As part of the Carrington Street re-opening the Live Poets host David Hallett has invited a posse of local poets to perform at the newly refurbished Caddies starting at 8.30am.

Among the poetic identities performing are Lismore Poetry Cup holder Robin Archie Archbold and three-time winner Catherine Stewart.
