Guru film

Spiritual teacher Gangaji is in Byron Bay in early December. Even gurus need a holiday I guess.

To coincide with her visit, the newly-released film Awakening NOW will screen on Monday, December 11, at the Byron Bay Community Centre at 8pm.

This documentary by Jerel Mani features Gangaji as one of six contemporary teachers (Gangaji, Andrew Cohen, Isira, Master Charles Cannon, Swami Shankarananda and Swami Chetanananda) who offer their experiences and thoughts on awakening and enlightenment, and ask some fundamental questions Who am I? Why am I here? Wheres my beer?

Following the screening Jerel Mani will do a question and answer session.

For more info phone Nikki Freeburn on 0415 207 887.

Tickets are $15.
