Mishing out

Mish (pictured) used to front the funky band Mishful Thinking. Now shes gone solo, exploring her musical world and mapping out a smooth, laid-back land with her original songs, her heavenly voice, her eccentric electric piano and her wailing trumpet.

This Sunday, December 10, Mish will play a sensitive and sensual set at the Basilico Caf Restaurant Gallery in Molesworth Street, Lismore, from 12.30pm. Shell be accompanied by Andy Campbell wholl add to the chilled (but warm) musical ambience with his harp and hammer dulcimer.

Coffee, food and Mishs music trs cool.

Rosanna has designs on female taboo

Artist Rosanna Pimm uses 3500 porcelain tampons to created her large scale performance installation Riots of Passage in The Quad as part of The Lismore Women's Festival on International Women's Day. Laying down and de-constructing the mandala structure symbolises the impermanence of the menstrual cycle and an end to female inequality in the world.
