Rapping it up

Hip hop means not having to keep your feet firmly on the ground. Here, the Homebase hip hop crew warm up for some dance action in Lismore this Saturday.

The Homebase Hip Hop Hour will showcase some cool moves at the Star Court Theatre in Lismore this Saturday, December 9, at 4.30pm.

Homebase is a free hip hop dance mentorship project, developed by NORPA Dance Action. A selected group of young northern NSW people aged 15-24 years were given an opportunity to further their dance skills, access mentors for advice, and work towards a project in their home community.

The Homebase mentorship is coming to an end and all the mentorees are gearing up for their final performance.

For some inspired hip hop, break dance and rap, check out what these young people have been working on throughout the year.

Tickets are $5/3 at the door. For more info phone Bernadette on 6622 3279.
