Streets ahead for young talent

Singer/songwriter Ariel (above), who produced her first album The One Exception of Time at the age of 13, is now a veteran performer at 15. (She has played gigs all over the state and has received embarrassingly rapturous reviews.)

Ariel will launch her new EP Autumn Rain this Saturday, December 9, at the Carrington Street Carnivale in Lismore. (Like with her first recording, she performed, produced, and did the artwork on Autumn Rain.)

Shell be performing from 12pm with young spunk Darmin on acoustic guitar.

Therell be all sorts of performances celebrating the new Carrington streetscape from 10am-2pm with world music band Stipsky, Ariel and Darmin, a poets breakfast at Caddies Coffee Shop, the Gypsy Rollers puppet show, singer Paige Ridgeway, Israeli circle dancing, a fashion parade, salsa dancing... theres heaps of performing action. (Even clowns and face-painting for the kiddies.)
