From Nimbin to London... and back again

Dancer Khadi Wolf-Brook is reaching for the sky with her foot. Shes showcasing her ballet skills in a show in Nimbin this Sunday.

Earlier this year, young ballerina Khadi WolfBrook attended summer school at Londons Royal Ballet. Nimbin held a benefit concert for her, starring the young dancer herself, to raise monies for her learning adventure. It was a sell-out and raised $2500 to get her to London and back.

Now Khadi and some of her talented friends are staging Showcase Unique where shell demonstrate what she has learned dance-wise since we last saw her at the Nimbin Town Hall this Sunday, December 3, from 1.30pm.

Also performing are Williamina Bowers (soprano), Gerard Lynam (pianist), Paul McGeown (tenor), Liora Claff (contemporary singer), Tub (bush balladeer), Jarieus (dancer and swordsman) and Robin Archbold (poet). Sounds like another top-class show.

Tickets are $10 (or $22 for a family) and from Perceptio Bookshop in Nimbin or at the door.
