Jazzy Jules rules

For 12 years Jules Kelly has brought the very best jazz and blues acts to the North Coast. Its what she loves to do. (You can tell, eh?) Now Ballina people can enjoy those augmented scales in their town every Saturday night.

Ballina is about to embark on a jazz and blues odyssey because the Jazz Queen of the North Coast, Jules Kelly, has taken over the performer bookings for the Jazz & Blues Bar at the Ballina Hotel.

Jules, of the Jazz In The Countryside Agency, has run the Jazz n Blues night every week in Lismore for the last 12 years (three cheers...) and has the very best of Australian (and international) acts on her books.

Now every Saturday night at the Jazz & Blues Bar at Ballina Hotel there will be some very cool music set in comfortable digs and with good food available. Its a club vibe.

This Saturday, December 2, you can enjoy the sultry voice of Deb Lorenz when she hits the stage with Hans Lovejoy on double bass and Geoff Wright on the six-stringer. The cost? Nuthin.

The high notes start at 7.30pm.

If you would like to be on the monthly mailing list for Jazz In The Countryside gigs, email Jules at juleskelly@aapt.net.au.
