If you thought youd missed out on the latest exhibition at Armisteads Gallery, Blokes Art, youll be pleasantly surprised to discover it has been extended for another two weeks. The exhibition features the work of three students from the Diploma of Fine Arts at Lismore TAFE Sho Wakejima, Bill Clifton and Brett Bienke.

From large-scale oil paintings to drawings and Japanese wood and lino cuts, Blokes Art showcases an array of styles and ideas. This is Armisteads final exhibition for the year and itll remain on show until December 7. After that, owner Rhonda Baker will have a huge collection of small, affordable artworks by local artists for sale, giving people the opportunity to buy original art as a Christmas present for a friend or relative.

Laying down and de-constructing the mandala structure symbolises the impermanence of the menstrual cycle and an end to female inequality in the world.
