Bob blows in

Bob Barnard (pictured) is an Aussie music legend. This trumpeter has an international reputation and has blown his horn with many of the masters of mainstream like Ralph Sutton, Ken Peplowski and Milt Hinton.

His style is reminiscent of Louis Armstrong and Bunny Berigan.

Now you can see the man and hear the horn when he hits the stage of the Fountain Room at Lismore City Hall this Saturday, November 25, at 7.30pm.

Hell be accompanied by a hot little combo with Jo Bloomfield (piano), Lachie Thompson (clarinet), Mike Ross (drums) and Peter McLaughlin (bass).

Tickets are $15 and available from NORPA on 6622 0300.

Theres a bar (well, it is jazz), cheese platters are available and you can bring your own supper.
