The sisters are singing it up

Singer/songwriter Phoenix has been labelled part of a new crop of empowered and compelling songwriters by none other than Clare Bowditch, who won best female artist at this years ARIAs. Phoenix will be one of the many acts at the latest Sing It Up Sista performance night.

After a sell-out show at the Rochdale Theatre in Goonellabah last August, the Sing it up Sistas will keep the musical momentum rolling when these talented Northern Rivers women fill the Ewingsdale Hall in Byron next Friday, November 24, with performances of music, theatre, fire, poetry and comedy.

This is a child friendly community event with food and refreshments available.

The fun starts at 7pm. Entry is $10/8.

The next morning on Saturday, November 25, from 10am, workshops (PA systems, singing, songwriting, fire performance and more) are being run by women for women at the hall.

For more info or workshop bookings call Melania on 0413 236 261.
