Mullumbimby Folk Club presents Deya Dova at the Ol

Mullumbimby Folk Club presents Deya Dova at the Old Drill Hall in Mullumbimby next Thursday, November 23. An innovative vocalist, singer/songwriter and multi instrumentalist, Deya will perform songs from her new album The Jasmani Garden. This is the last folk club for the year and as usual chalkboard spots will be available from 7pm. The singing sensation starts at 8pm. $5 gets you in.

Artist Rosanna Pimm uses 3500 porcelain tampons to created her large scale performance installation  Riots of Passage in The Quad  as part of The Lismore Women's Festival on International Women's Day. Laying down and de-constructing the mandala structure symbolises the impermanence of the menstrual cycle and an end to female inequality in the world.
