Detailed below are briefing meetings scheduled for the forthcoming week.

A Council Briefing will be held on Tuesday, 30 October 2012 commencing at 6.00pm to brief Councillors about:

• Section 94 Plan Review – Other Infrastructure

DISCLOSURE OF POLITICAL DONATIONS

If you wish to make a submission on any development or rezoning proposal (either objecting or supporting) you are required by the Environmental Planning & Assessment Act 1979, to disclose any reportable political donations or gifts made to a Councillor or Council employee that were made within the period commencing two (2) years before the application was submitted. This includes any donation or gift made when a person was a candidate for Council election.

The disclosure reporting form is available on the Department of Planning website
www.planning.nsw.gov.au or from Council’s Offices. If you have made any such donations or gifts the completed form must accompany your submission.

DEVELOPMENT PROPOSALS

Environmental Planning and Assessment Act

As the consenting authority, Lismore City Council has received the following Development Applications (and/or Applications for Modifications to existing consents) for consideration.

The development application and Statement of Environmental Effects may be inspected at Council’s Corporate Centre, in Goonellabah, during normal business hours Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.30pm.  Staff are available to discuss applications in office hours.  Please call 1300 87 83 87 to make an appointment.

Written submissions in respect of any application, quoting DA number and location, and addressed to the General Manager, will be accepted by Council until 4.30pm on the date specified in the column below.

Please also note that any submission you make may be made available for inspection by any member of the public, as it will form part of the file that is a public record.

Any submissions received will be considered on their merits in conjunction with the assessment of the application.

COUNCILLOR INTERVIEWS
Would you like to speak with a Lismore City Councillor in person?

Interviews provide an opportunity for individual citizens and community groups to discuss matters of concern with their elected representatives.

Councillors are available for interviews on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month commencing at 5.30pm. Two councillors attend the nights on a roster.

On Monday, 5 November 2012, interviews will be conducted by Councillors Marks and Ritchie at the Goonellabah Sports and Aquatic Centre.
