OPINION: This election is about the Australian people. It's about their future, their family's future and our nation's future.

But not everyone thinks so. The Labor Party thinks that this election is all about them. They're worried about who gets the top job and will do anything to win.

We know that we must do everything we can to secure Australia's future. That is why the Coalition has pledged to end the waste, pay back the debt, stop the big new taxes, stop the boats and help struggling families.

Julia Gillard would like you to believe otherwise, but Federal Labor is no different to state Labor. Labor has turned breaking promises, mismanagement and spin into an art form. In fact, the faceless men of NSW Labor are infecting the federal government with the same toxic back-room schemes familiar to anyone who lives in NSW.

A Labor win on Saturday will mean a mining tax that threatens jobs and investment.

A carbon tax will drive up prices for Australian families and make our economy less competitive.

The boats will keep coming.

The $100 million per day borrowing continues and interest rates will rise.

The school hall waste and stuff ups will recommence.

We will see yet another Julia - one who will break her election promises - because the one we have seen is just all election talk.

And Labor's secret Labor-Greens preference deal may give the Greens the balance of power in the Senate meaning an even higher, job-destroying mining tax.

It's time to end the election talk. It's time for real action.

Taxes will go. I will remove the threats to jobs of the mining tax on day one.

I will end the looming threat of the carbon tax on household budgets.

I'll repay the debt: our Debt Reduction Taskforce starts in week one and on Wednesday we announced savings measures totalling $49 billion.

I'll end Labor's wasteful incompetence. We will suspend payments under Labor's BER program from Day 1. Pressure on families will be lifted with initiatives like the education rebate and the paid parental leave scheme.

We have been let down by the Rudd-Gillard government. Let's not give a bad government the second chance that it does not deserve and that our country cannot afford. Let's change this bad government before it can do any more damage. Let's once more give Australia the good government that a great country deserves.

This Sunday you can wake up to a government that believes in doing the right thing and respecting your vote. A government that recognises that the money we spend is yours not ours.

Or you can wake up to the real Labor: the backstabbing will start again, the waste continues, taxes and price increases are back, the debt grows, the boats keep coming, the spin continues, the lies come out and you will pay.

Why should Australians trust Julia Gillard and Labor when even Kevin Rudd couldn't?

I pledge, from day one, to start repaying the debt, stopping the big new taxes, stopping the boats and helping struggling families.

I will stand up for Australia. I will stand up for real action and I ask for your support.
