Second man charged over attempted stabbing murder in hotel

Trevor Veale

A SECOND man has been charged over the attempted stabbing murder of a man in the foyer of a Sydney hotel.

A 29-year-old suffered a punctured lung and was taken to hospital in a critical condition after being discovered on the floor of an inner-city hotel earlier this month.

Hours later, a 30 year-old was arrested and charged with cause grievous bodily harm with intent to murder.

His friend, a 31-year-old man, was arrested late Sunday and charged with attempted murder.

Both accused are expected to front court on September 25.
