Performers donate cash
DOZENS of performers gave their time and talent for the annual In Good Company concert last November to raise money for the Lismore Soup Kitchen, 5 Loaves mobile soup kitchen and the Mental Health Support Group.
It's taken a while, but the number crunchers have added up all the columns and this week a cheque for $6447 dollars was split between the three recipients.
Organiser Horace Bevan said they had now raised more than $15,000 in the three years the concert has been running.
"There's a lot of bad stuff going on in the world, but this is something that brings all the brothers and sisters and people in our community together," he said.
