Living with breast cancer forum
MORE than 200 women from the Bundaberg region will gather this month to attend the Breast Cancer Network Australia's Living Well Beyond Breast Cancer Forum.
The forum provides participants with the latest information and advice from leading clinicians and local service providers, as well as the opportunity to connect with other women going through a similar experience.
Bundaberg breast cancer survivor Dayna Perrin-Smith said she was thrilled to be given the opportunity to hear from healthcare experts about living well after a breast cancer diagnosis.
"I am thrilled that BCNA are coming to Bundaberg to provide local women affected by breast cancer the latest information and practical advice," Ms Perrin-Smith said.
"The BCNA forum is also a fantastic opportunity for women to connect with others who have been through a similar experience and help to remind us that we're not alone on our breast cancer journey."
The free forum will be held at CQUniversity from 10.30am-3pm on May 23.
