TWENTY million people applied for tickets when Led Zeppelin announced its famous reunion gig in 2007.

Only 18,000 were lucky enough to secure a seat through a worldwide lottery.

Now, everyone else will get a chance to see the show, when the film of that concert, Led Zeppelin: Celebration Day, screens in more than 1500 cinemas around the world, including at Dendy Byron Bay, next Wednesday.

The concert was held on December 10, 2007, when Led Zeppelin took to the stage at London's O2 Arena to headline a tribute concert for their dear friend, Atlantic Records founder Ahmet Ertegun.

What followed was a two-hour-plus tour de force of the band's signature blues-infused rock 'n' roll that instantly became part of the legend of Led Zeppelin.

Founding members John Paul Jones, Jimmy Page and Robert Plant were joined by Jason Bonham, the son of their late drummer John Bonham, to perform 16 songs from their celebrated catalogue.

Celebration Day screens at the Dendy at 7pm on October 17. Tickets are $20.
