Kim nails new beauty salon
TARGO St just got a lot more glamorous with a new nail salon opening in the CBD.
Kim Dang, who has worked in several salons around town, has branched out opening her own shop, Kim's Nails across from the Central Hotel.
And while she has only been open about a week, her loyal customers have kept Mrs Dang working flat out.
"It's very good," she said.
"I've been very busy."
On top of her loyal following, Mrs Dang said the prime location of the business meant she was seeing lots of new faces.
"I got five new customers last week," she said.
Mrs Dang offers both acrylic and gel nails at the salon, along with intricate nail art.
"I love the nail art," she said.
Mrs Dang has been in Bundaberg for three years after moving here from Vietnam.
And her skill is such that even other nail technicians get their nails done with her.
Tracey Salter is one of those customers and said she would not go anywhere else.
"I met Kim just through going in a salon and I've followed her ever since," Mrs Salter said.
"I'm really particular so I always make sure to come here.
"This is really good - anything new like this in Bundaberg is a bonus."
Another customer, Toni Harney, said she had been to just about every nail salon in town and always came back to Mrs Dang.
"Word of mouth got me here (to Kim)," she said.
Kim's Nails is at 25 Targo St. Phone 0467 500 009 for more information.
