Gun shots hit Sydney family home
A SYDNEY mother and her three children are lucky to be alive after their home was pelted with bullets on the weekend.
Late Saturday afternoon, two men fired a series of shots into a home at Old Guilford in Sydney's west.
One of the bullets shattered the bedroom window and grazed the back of a 35-year-old woman inside.
She was treated at the scene.
Her three children escaped injury.
Two other houses in the street were also struck by bullets.
Gang Squad detectives attached to Operation Spartan believe the attack was targeted but have not established a clear motive.
At the time of going to press, the search for the shooters continued.
