Go pink this Friday for breast cancer support

NEXT Monday is Pink Ribbon Day and the NSW Cancer Council NSW will be painting the town pink from this Friday to show support for the one in eight Australian women who will be diagnosed with breast cancer by the age of 85.

On the Far North Coast it is estimated that more than 231 women are diagnosed with breast cancer this year, with more than 39 women tragically losing their lives to this terrible disease.

Cancer Council NSW is the ONLY charity that funds and supports the entire breast cancer journey including prevention programs, support services for patients and their families, and world-class research.

You can show your support on Friday by purchasing official Pink Ribbon Day merchandise from one of our many locations including Alstonville, Ballina, Bangalow, Murwillumbah, Lennox, Lismore, Tweed, Grafton, Yamba and Pottsville.
