Go back to the roaring '20s
You may be familiar with the famous musical (and now movie) Chicago - a sassy story about the glittering world of show business mixed with sordid crime set in the 1920s. Well, now you can see it as a local production by Ballina Players Theatre.
There are larger-than-life characters, dazzling period costumes and energetic dance numbers that will keep the audience enthralled. Directed by Sue and Paul Belsham and choreographed by Jaime Whittingham, Chicago will be staged at the Players from June 15 (black tie opening night) to July 6, with evening performances at 8pm and Sunday matinees at 2pm. Tickets are available at Just Funkin Music - phone 6686 2440 or visit www.ballinaplayers.com.au for more information.
