Free film workshops

Free film workshops for young people aged 10-20 years start this weekend. Youth Connections North Coast will help budding auteurs make a short film that can be entered into the Nimbin Youth Film Competition, or just learn more about the filmmaking process. The workshop will cover all aspects of filmmaking, from pre-production and scriptwriting to the final edit. You can bring your own camera or use the equipment supplied.

The workshops are run by two North Coast filmmakers, Darmin Cameron and Paris Naday. Darmin has been in the industry since 1992, directing and producing award-winning films. Paris is a graduate from SAE film school in Byron Bay.

Workshop are at the Nimbin Youth Centre this Saturday, November 24, and December 1 and 8, from 10am to 2pm, with lunch supplied.

For more information phone Darmin on 0428 337 088 or email darmincameron@gmail.com.
