ACCLAIMED dancers Jarrod and Jane Dawson are spending the final hours before Saturday enthusiastically preparing for the Dance Spectacular being held at Tyalgum Hall.

The couple that began dancing together in 2006, not only fell in love with dance, but with each other as well, later marrying in 2010.

"Performing and competing is our biggest love," Mr Dawson said.

"We train 5 nights a week, often interstate, it's good because we can share it together, both the successes and the failures, and we are working towards a common goal.

"What makes us different is the chemistry we have when we dance."

Having moved to Brisbane to follow their dream they have achieved several awards throughout their dancing careers.

"We are four time Australian champions, I have been dancing for over 15 years and Jane has been dancing for over 20 years," he said.

The duo will present a new vogue five-dance floorshow to the crowd at Tyalgum and are excited to show the town their dance moves.

"We grew up in a small town south of Coffs Harbor called Repton, and to bring dance to a small town like Tyalgum is very exciting," he said.

"I'll be in my tails, Jane will be in a ballroom gown with a few dress changes throughout the night."

With the couple performing a special new vogue routine for Saturday, the crowd at Tyalgum sure has a lot to look forward to.

Dinner and show packages for the Tyalgum Dance Spectacular on Saturday, November 10 at 8pm are priced from $80 per person, including a two-course pre-show dinner at Flutterbies Cottage Café from 6pm (NSW time).

Show only tickets are priced at $50.
