Fifteen years of Filipino tradition

The Filipino Community Organisation of the Northern Rivers recently celebrated its 15th anniversary at the Lismore Workers Club where the ladies also dressed in traditional Filipino costume to mark Filipino Independence Day.

The Filipino Community Organisation meets on the fourth Sunday of the month to eat traditional Filipino food, fundraise and as one member calls it, “enjoy chat chat”.

For more information or to join the group, phone Finette on 6621 3504.
