YOU can walk, run or even roll your way down the hill for this year's Walk the Walk fundraiser to help Lifeline Northern Rivers continue its 24-hour crisis telephone support service.

The walk is on Saturday, June 9, and is a gentle eight-kilometre stroll (or roll) from Summit Gym in Goonellabah to Oakes Oval in Lismore, where there will be a jumping castle and face painting for the kids, and good food and coffee for the adults. And there will even be transport to take you back to your car at Goonellabah. (They've thought of everything, haven't they?)

Last year around 400 people took part, raising $22 000 - and Lifeline's Niall Mulligan said he hopes this year will be even bigger. There will even be prizes for the best fancy dress costume on the day.

Registration is $20 for a family, $10 for an individual or $250 for a corporate team.
