Scott Whittingham's solo show at the Serpentine Gallery is, both literally and figuratively, Paintings Inspired by Poetry.

The Master of Arts from NSW Uni's College of Fine Arts has created a series of paintings, sculptures and mixed media works that revolve around personal interactions with the Australian landscape and multicultural society.

His journey of aesthetics has brought him to the lush Northern Rivers, where his work at least, will remain on show till December 3, with opening night this Friday, November 23, at 7pm.

Poetry readings and nibbles will accompany the inclusive event.
