Hi, my name is Julie Green and I am very proud to say that I am a Celebrant. I have the pleasure marrying wonderful couples of all ages and stages in life and have had the honour of participating in over 70 weddings. Being a Celebrant is a really wonderful occupation. I have the privilege of being a part of the happiest day in most people’s lives. All Weddings are beautiful and helping each couple to make this lifelong commitment is truly an honour. I keep a photographic record of all of my Ceremonies that I just cherish. Each Ceremony is special in its own way. On the beach, in a park, as a surprise at your Birthday Party, in Grandma’s garden, down the backyard. All great places to celebrate milestones in our lives. Every ceremony is special regardless of how many people are there. Maybe only 4 people or sometimes 200 people. Lavish or plain and simple.
As a Celebrant I also perform Name Giving Ceremonies, Vow Renewals and Commitment Ceremonies. Tannum Sands, Kingaroy and Caloundra are just some of the great places I have been to in my travels as a Celebrant. I also regularly travel to Woodgate, Biggenden, Bundaberg and all areas in between for Ceremonies. I attend training seminars and have regular contact with a group of Celebrants in our region to keep up with the many changes in our industry. I am always looking for new ideas and new ways to make these ceremonies as personalized and as meaningful as possible. I have had many funny things happen as well as some very emotional moments during the Ceremonies I have been a part of so far. It truly is an interesting and rewarding profession and I have met lots of wonderful people and made many new friends.
