PROPOSED CHANGES TO COUNCIL POLICIES

Lismore City Council has resolved to provide ‘in principle’ support to amendments to its Rates and Charges Hardship Policy.

The amended policy provides extensive detail on the financial hardship and pensioner concession provisions of the Local Government Act 1993 as well as Council processes for the assessment of eligibility.
